Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of VetNav. By using the service you agree to them. If you use VetNav on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.

The service

VetNav is software that helps accredited agencies and veterans manage VA benefits claims and appeals. It is a tool, not a law firm or an accredited representative, and does not provide legal advice. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. Agency users represent that they hold the accreditation they claim and have the authority to act for the clients they manage.

Authorized access to VA data

You may access VA data only as authorized — with an accepted power of attorney for agency use, or your own authenticated consent for the veteran portal. Misusing the service to access data you are not authorized to see is prohibited and may be unlawful.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access, no interference with its operation, no unlawful use, and no use of the AI features as a substitute for professional judgment where representation is required.

AI-generated content

VetNav uses AI to summarize and explain VA correspondence. AI output can be incomplete or wrong; review it and verify anything you rely on. It is not legal advice.

Fees

The veteran portal is free. Agency and enterprise plans are billed as agreed. Fees and included usage are set out in your plan.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetNav is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited as set out in your plan.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or to protect the service or its users.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
